Project Harar’s founder inspires accountants The Institute of Chartered Accountants recognised Jonathan Crown, Project Harar’s founder, with the Everybody Counts award in a ceremony last June. Jonathan qualified as an accountant in 1990 and has been a member of the Institute since. His involvement in Project Harar was considered “inspirational and thoroughly humbling” by the judges especially in consideration of the time and effort he dedicates to the charity, as well as the long-lasting impact that Project Harar has on the lives of hundreds of children with severe facial disfigurements needing medical care. The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales donated a prize of £2,000 to the charity.
